The latest evicted “Pinoy Big Brother All In” housemate Nichole Baranda admitted that she backstabbed the controversial celebrity teen housemate Jane Oineza in an interview at “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Monday June 30, 2014.

The daughter of the model-host Phomela Baranda told the hosts Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda that she spoke ill to the young star behind her back. However, she learned her lessons and confronted her after few days.

The 15-year-old recalled how she backstabbed Jane Oineza and said: “Me and Loisa (Andalio) were talking about her behind her back, but she would go in the room, then we would be quiet.”

Asked if why she is ready to admit backstabbing Jane Oineza, Nichole Baranda said that she is confident to say it because she already learned her lessons and she already made up to Jane Oineza.

In the previous episodes of the popular reality TV series, Nichole Baranda was seen sincerely talking to Jane Oineza. The teen actress even became emotional when Nichole left the house on Sunday June 29, 2014.

Meanwhile, the hosts praises Nichole Baranda  for her honesty in telling the truth. They also told her that it is normal to commit mistakes as a teenager and what’s important is they learned from it.

The Kapamilya actor Jason Abalos appeals to the public to not to judge his girlfriend, the “Pinoy Big Brother All In” housemate Vickie Rushton after she aired her disappointments with him in the famous yellow house.

On June 28, 2014, the former “Maria Mercedes” actor took the image-sharing site Instagram and posted a photo of the 21-year-old dubbed as “Lady Mahinhin ng Bacolod” and wrote his request to the public.

The 29-year-old actor first thanked all his supporters for understanding the situation. He wrote that was hurt by what happened but it was even more painful for him to know that people are judging his girlfriend.

Jason Abalos wrote that he and Vickie’s family are also trying to understand the model-beauty queen and he hopes that some people would also understand her, given that she was in the reality show.

“Masakit para sa akin ang nangyayari pero mas nasasaktan ako sa mga panghuhusga niyo kay Vickie. Sinusubukan namin siya intindihin ng pamilya niya na lubos na nakakakilala sa kanya. Unawain sana natin na nasa mundo sila ngayon na hindi rin natin naiintindihan ang mga nangyayari,” he wrote along with the photo.

He also said that Vickie Rushton has still a lot of problems and with that, she asked the people to pray for and for other housemates rather than to judge him without knowing how they feel inside the house.

“Madami pa siya pinagdadaanang problema. Mas makakadagdag pa sa kanya ang malalaman niya na hinuhusgahan siya. Nakikiusap po ako ipagdasal na lang natin sila kesa kung ano-ano po ang sinasabi natin. Mas kailangan nila ‘yan. Hindi natin alam kung ano ang pakiramdam sa loob ng PBB house,” he added.

In the previous episodes of the show, Vickie Rushton opened up to her fellow housemates that she was disappointed the way Jason Abalos handles their relationship recently. She was also quick to say that she still loves him but was hesitant to admit that she is still happy being with him.

The housemates was also teasing the celebrity housemate Daniel Matsunaga to Vickie Rushton, which fueled the issue. However, the the Brazilian-Japanese keep his distance from Vickie knowing that she has a boyfriend outside the house.

The mother of Sarah Lahbati took to the image-sharing site Instagram to prove that she as the one who took care of baby Zion since he was born.

In a series of posts which started on June 19, Sarah’s mother Esther has been posting pictures of the bay recalling how she and her husband Abdel took care of Lahbati's son with actor Richard Gutierrez.

In one of her posts, Esther recalled the difficulty they had to endure trying to hide the baby from the public, calling these "moments of truth."

"Hinihintay ko ang oras na walang tao sa daan sa Geneva para lang mailabas si Zion,” she said.

In another post, Mrs. Lahbati took a swipe at Gutierrez’s mother, talent manager Annabelle Rama.

Sharing pictures of their travels in Europe and the United States, Lahbati's mother lamented that they are not being given any credit, despite being hands-on grandparents to Zion.

“Kahit saan kami pumunta para kaming TNT. Sa Italy ito kami 3 lagi ang magkasama. So nasaan kami ngayon? Balewala na,” she said.

“I was there too in LA. It's not about all the material things. iniwan din nila sa akin si Zion. nagkasakit ako ng October. bumalik ako ng Switzerland for my check up. Then bumalik ako ng LA Jan. 07,14 para madala ko na sa Phils si Zion dahil hindi nila kaya ilabas si Zion,” she added.

Just last week, Mrs. Lahbati allegedly cried foul over how she was treated during the first birthday party and dedication of her grandson.

She supposedly took to Instagram to air her dismay that she was made to look like a “patay gutom” during her grandson’s party.

“The Truth! Masakit ang ma ignore sa party. Hindi naman pwede pera pera na lang ang lagi nangingibabaw. Para lang makilala ka sa lipunan. Pag wala ka pera di ka kilala,” she said.

“At the end of the day sinabihan pa 'ko ng, 'Esther, magbalot ka ng mga tirang pagkain dyan.' Pinarinig pa sa mga bisita, grabe! Naawa ako sa sarili ko. The whole party hindi ako pinansin tapos para ako patay gutom na aalukin ng tira pagkain,” she added.

On the other hand, Rama played down reports of an alleged rift between her family and Esther.

"Busy ako kay Baby Zion, nakaka-in love, nakakawala ng stress, kaya di ko na pinapansin lahat ng mga intriga. Ayaw kong pumatol sa mga taong kinakawawa ang sarili nila. Basta ako, I won't allow myself to be kawawa, move on, forget the past... kung ako pa sa iyo, laruin mo na lang si Zion para mawala ang negative vibes sa katawan mo," Rama said.

Both Lahbati and Gutierrez have appealed to their supporters to just let them handle their family matters internally in a hope that they may all live in harmony.

Kris Aquino swears: I'm happy for James, GF

 Kris Aquino is willing to give away her wealth just to prove that she will be genuinely happy for ex-husband James Yap and his girlfriend, Italian Michela Cazzola, in case the two finally decide to tie the knot.

Speaking on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Aquino said she a heard a rumor over the weekend about a supposed pre-nuptial pictorial of Yap and Cazzola -- which turned out to be not true.

“May nagsabi sa akin na ‘Uy nag pre-nup pictorial daw si James Yap and the girlfriend.’ So sabi ko, ‘Ah talaga? Saang hotel?’ Somewhere in Alabang. And then lahat sila sinasabi ‘Are you okay?’ Yes, of course. Sabi ko, 'Of course, I’m okay, good for them. At least talagang mukhang totoo na,'” she told co-hosts Boy Abunda and Toni Gonzaga.

When she found out that her friends from Yes! Magazine were reportedly at the pictorial, she asked a friend to call up the magazine's Ana Pingol to confirm the rumor.

"Hindi pala totoo. It was a concept for the two of them to be together,” Aquino narrated.

Still Aquino said her friends kept on asking her if she was okay.

“I said, 'Swear to God, ibigay ko na lahat ng kayamanan ko, happy for ako for them,'” she said.

The television host said she does not have any problem with Cazzola.

“Ang daling magbigay ng kaligayahan and mag-wish ng well for others, why? Because this girl is being nice to my son. Wala na kaming anger ni James sa isa’t isa and I feel that she will make an effort to welcome my son and be good to my son and that’s all that matters,” she said.

Asked if she will attend the wedding in case they invite her, Aquino said, “I’m really going to make sure super gwapo 'yung date ko para hindi ako mukhang kawawa.”

Aquino and Yap were married in civil rites in July 2005. Their marriage was declared null in February 2012, following allegations of infidelity on Yap's part.

Esther Lahbati spites the celebrity talent manager Anabelle Rama with her latest Instagram posts. This is after she expressed that she was unfairly treated at the baptism and birthday party of Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez’s son baby Zion.

The mother of Sarah Lahbati once again took her Instagram and posted several photos of her with Baby Zion togther with her husband and aired her dismay to Richard Gutierrez’s mother.

Esther Lahbati wrote along with the photos that they were the ones who took care baby Zion but Anabelle Rama claimed that she did the work.

She also narrated how she managed to keep the baby on the time when their family cannot show baby Zion yet to the public. According to her, she and baby Zion are always together during the hard times but she could not understand what happened to them now.

In one of her pohotos taken in Italy, Esther Lahbati said that she, her husband and baby Zion are always together and they always feel like a TNT or “Tago ng Tago” but after the child was revealed, they feel that they are no longer important.

Kapamilya actor Jason Abalos cannot hold his tears back as he reunited with his girlfriend Vickie Rushton in the hit reality TV Series “Pinoy Big Brother All In” after almost two months being apart from each other.

In the episode of the reality show aired on Thursday June 19, 2014, the former Star Circle Quest Contestant was tasked to deliver a letter to the 21-year-old model from her father Eric, who will also visit Vickie Rushton later on the episode.

Jason Abalos, who recently starred in “Maria Mercedes”, entered the living room when the housemates are told to be still for their weekly task. They were only allowed to commit three mistakes.

Vickie Rushton managed not to move at first but she committed an error when she hugged Jason Abalos back. Before the actor left, he hugged his girlfriend again and told her that he loves her.

In the Confession room, Jason Abalos thanked Kuya for allowing him to enter the house. He also broke down in tears  over Vickie Rushton’s estrangement from her father.

Jason Abalos wishes Vickie Rusthon to be happy and to find peace in her heart so she may forget all her sadness that she had been carrying for years.

How Anne Curtis copes with killer work schedule

Despite a schedule that had her at one point working 12 days straight, including Sunday, Anne Curtis is not complaining.

The 29-year-old actress is very much in-demand these days, with two acting projects and several endorsements that either require her presence at a shoot or a press event, on her plate.

Curtis is still billed as a regular co-host of ABS-CBN's "It's Showtime," but was not seen on the noontime program for a month until Thursday, when her schedule, in a rare instance, finally opened up.

Explaining her long absence from the show, which she has been vocal in calling "home," Curtis said she had been juggling her other roles on-screen -- the titular character in the ongoing "Dyesebel," and the scheming, rich girl Zoe Tuazon in the upcoming comedy film "The Gifted."

"But definitely, as soon as the film is done, you'll see me on 'Showtime,' every other day ulit," Curtis told ABS-CBN News on Tuesday.

Curtis tapes for "Dyesebel," which airs weeknights, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, then shifts to her character in "The Gifted" for the remaining weekdays, plus Saturday.

According to Curtis, the film by Chris Martinez is on its final week of shooting in time for its theatrical release later this year.

Asked how she manages to switch between characters on a daily basis, Curtis admitted that she finds the task difficult. "Struggle siya nang kaunti. Ginusto ko naman 'to, so kakayanin ko naman," she said.

The month of May was especially hectic for Curtis, as she had also been preparing for her second major concert dubbed "Annekapal." The actress shared that leading up to the show, which was held last May 16 at a packed Araneta Coliseum, she had to shoot scenes for "Dyesebel" for consecutive days.

"I think sa industriya natin, kailangan mo talaga mahalin 'yung mga ginagawa mo para ma-survive mo 'yung everyday nag-wo-work ka," Curtis said, when asked how she manages to keep up, and quite energetically.

"Talagang 'yung mga sacrifices, ginagawa mo para sa mahal mong trabaho, maging film man, telebisyon, o commercial," she added. "Go lang, basta mahal mo 'yung work mo. Blessing -- blessing parin ang trabaho."

Richard Gutierrez believes he is on the right track ever since he had girlfriend Sarah Lahbati and son Zion in his life.

In an interview with The Philippine Star, Gutierrez said he feels very fortunate to be with the two people he loves dearly.

“I think the more love you have in your heart, it will naturally push you in the right direction. So ganun 'yung nangyari sa akin,” he said. “Right now, I'm on the right direction. I'm very happy, I love baby Zion, I love Sarah.”

While their family recently made headlines following the Instragram post of Lahbati’s mom alleging she was unfairly treated during Zion’s first birthday party and dedication, Gutierrez said he has no time for negativity.

“I'm not spending time sa kahit anong negativity. I'm trying to move forward as a family,” he said.

On Wednesday, Gutierrez took to Instagram to say they all want to settle their family matters internally. The actor said he and Lahbati are also hoping to live harmoniously.

Meanwhile, Gutierrez shared he is lucky to have Lahbati as the mom of their son.

“Gaya ng sabi ko before, kami ni Sarah ine-enjoy namin ang parenthood kay Zion. Kaka-share pa lang namin kay Zion sa lahat. Ngayon pa lang namin naeenjoy yung relationship namin, 'yung bonding namin as parents kay Zion,” he said.

Asked what he likes the most about the actress, Gutierrez said, “I fell in love with her. And sometimes you can't explain that, ‘di ba.”

“We just really get along. Kumbaga, click kaming dalawa. Kahit anong bagay napaguusapan namin. We laugh at the same jokes. And Sarah's very passionate about life. She's very passionate about her craft as an artist. So, naattract ako sa kanya. And tugma kaming dalawa,” he added.

Geo Garcia, the father of teen housemate Joshua Garcia, went emotional as he was allowed to visit his son inside the “Pinoy Big Brother All In” house.

On the episode aired on Wednesday June 18, 2014, Geo Garcia entered the famous yellow house on the moment where in the housemates were told to freeze as part of their weekly task.

Daddy Geo Garcia cannot hold his tears back about seeing his son. He was seen giving advice to the 16-year-old about the “love triangle” involving him, Jane Oineza and Loisa Andalio.

He told Joshua Garcia the risk falling in love and as well as the importance on standing on her own despite of the challenges.

Several housemates including Loisa Andalio, Jane Oineza and especially Nichole Baranda were also seen being emotional as they watched the father and son’s heartfelt moment.

Before Geo Garcia left the living room, he told Joshua Garcia: “I love you anak,” and kissed him on the cheeks. He then thanked “Kuya” for allowing him to see his son even for a few minutes.

Joshua Garcia told Kuya that he wanted to hug his father but he could not do. He thinks that he become stronger after seeing his father.

It was not the first time when Joshua Garcia was visited by his family. Last month, her mother Fe, who he haven’t seen since he was 5 years old, went also inside the PBB house.

Angeli Bayani beats Nora, Vilma at Gawad Urian

An internationally acclaimed historical epic from award-winning director Lav Diaz led the way at the 37th Gawad Urian held at the Dolphy Theater on Tuesday night.

"Norte, Hangganan ng Kasaysayan" (North, The End of History) received the night's most prestigious award -- Best Picture -- along with other nods such as Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Best Actress.

"Ang mensahe po ng 'Norte' ay napapanahon at masaya po kami na mayroon ganitong pagkilala mula sa mga masisinop at matatalinong kritiko tulad ng mga manunuri," a representative of Diaz, who was not able to grace the ceremony, said.

The film revolves around the life of three characters -- a man wrongly jailed for murder, a law school drop-out with a lopsided sense of morality, and a convict who finds life in prison more tolerable. It is loosely based on the Russia's canonical piece of literature, Fyodor Dostovyevsky's Crime and Punishment.

Award-winning actor Sid Lucero stars in one of the leading roles, alongside Archie Alemania, and actress Angeli Bayani. The three were all nominated for the annual awards ceremony but only Agbayani managed to win in her category.

The flustered theater talent, who admittedly did not prepare an acceptance speech, bested the likes of screen veterans Nora Aunor, Vilma Santos, Cheri Gil, and Eugene Domingo on her way to winning her first Gawad Urian award.

"Gusto ko lang po sabihin kaya po ako na-ooverwhelm ng ganito ay una sa lahat, I would like to share this honor to everyone who was nominated," she said.

"It is an honor to be named among such honorable and brilliant actresses. I feel like this is not happening right now. At feeling ko kailangan ko magtago dahil sa mga Noranians and Vilmanians," she added referring to the fanbase of the two revered actresses.

Among the other winners for the night were veteran actor Joel Torre for his role in the action-thriller "On The Job," which also won Best Sound.

"I would like to dedicate this award to a very special person. She's the most important person in my life. For 30 years, she stood up with my mistress, which was my career, but until now, she's still here," he said.

"To my wife, para sa iyo to. I know you love diamonds but this is more meaningful and more precious," he continued.

Angel Aquino was named Best Supporting Actress -- a category she was nominated twice in -- for her role in "Ang Huling Cha Cha ni Anita".

"It feels surreal competing against myself," Aquino quipped.

First-time director Hannah Espia was also recognized for her work in "Transit" -- a film which shows the horrors of life as an OFW in Israel. It stars Ping Medina, who was also nominated for the night, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

Espia becomes only the third female director to win Best Director since the awarding body was formed back in 1977.

Sarah Lahbati’s Mom Ignored at Baby Zion’s Christening and First Birthday Party

Sarah Lagbati’s mom, Esther Lahbati took to her Instagram account to express her frustration when she was ignored during the christening and first birthday celebration her grandson on Sunday, June 15, 2014.

In an Instagram post, Esther Lahbati said that she was ignored during the party of Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati’s son and at the end of the celebration, she was told to pack left over food, however, she did not mention who told her to do so.

Esther Lahbati’s statement read: “The Truth! Masakit ang ma ignore sa party. Hindi naman pwede pera pera na lang ang lagi nangingibabaw para lang makilala ka sa lipunan. Pag wala ka pera di ka kilala. At the end of the day sinabihan pa ko ng Esther magbalot ka ng mga tirang pagkain dyan. Pinarinig pa sa mga bisita grabe! Naawa ako sa sarili ko. The whole party hindi ako pinansin tapos para ako patay gutom na aalukin ng tirang pagkain.”

These posts have been deleted from the Instagram account of Esther Lahbati but before she did, showbiz blogger Fashion Pulis already had a screen capture of her statement.

Baby Zion was introduced to public during the second episode of “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez” after his father Richard Gutierrez admitted that he is already a father during the pilot episode of their family’s reality show on E! Channel.

The safari-themed “Christening and 1^st Birthday Party” of baby Zion was attended by Vice President Jejomar Binay, Susan Roces, Richard Gomez, Aga Muhlach, Mayor Joseph Estrada and Gretchen Barretto who were among the 22 pairs of principal sponsors.

Maja Salvador Thanks Boyfriend Gerald Anderson In Supporting “The Legal Wife” – Video

After the very stressful role as a mistress to the recently concluded hit primetime drama series of ABS-CBN’s “The Legal Wife,” Maja Salvador is thankful for her “legal boy friend” Gerald Anderson for supporting her.

The 25-year-old actress is grateful because after “The Legal Wife” doors are opened for her like being an endorser of a real estate developer and right now she is very busy with all the preparations on her upcoming concert at Music Museum in Greenhills on July 12, 2014 dubbed as “Maj: The Legal Performer.” Rayver Cruz, Enchong Dee, Enrique Gil and Piolo Pascual are guest performers on her concert.

“I will try my best. Kasi pangarap ko maging total performer talaga,” Maja told reporters.

“Mag-sa-start na ako mag-voice lessons ulit. ‘Yung mga i-pe-perform ko, siyempre kailangan kong pag-aralan din po iyon. Tapos mga dance rehearsals,” she added.

Her upcoming concert is her way of giving back to all her fans which gave their support for her album “Believe” and since she started in show business way back in 2003.

“Sobrang in love ako mag-perform, kasi isang way ko po iyon na magpasalamat sa mga fans. Sobrang gustung-gusto ko ‘yung feeling na na-e-entertain ko sila kapag nag-pe-perform ako, kasi ibang happiness ‘yung naibibigay ko rin sa kanila,” Maja Salvador explained.

When asked about her boy friend Gerald Anderson’s reaction in her role in “The Legal Wife,” Maja replied: ““In fairness naman kasi nakakanood siya minsan pero ayun hiwalay naman talaga kasi ung sa trabaho namin…’he’s very supportive so thankful ako kahit ganung role yung ginagampanan ko eh nakasuporta pa rin siya sakin.”

Maja Salvador confirmed that there is another TV series coming, but doesn’t want to divulge anything about it yet.

Kris Aquino Describes James Yap’s Girlfriend Michela Cazzola as ‘Great’!

Kapamilya actress-host Kris Aquino called the girlfriend of her former husband James Yap girlfriend Michela Cazzola ‘great’ for being good to her son James “Bimby” Yap.

In the live broadcast of the news and entertainment talk show “The Buzz” aired on Sunday June 15, 2014, the “Sisterakas” star said that there is no reconciliation that will happen between her and the basketball superstar.

The box-office actress said that the San Mig Coffee Mixers player is happy with his relationship with his Italian girlfriend and she thinks that both of them deserve happiness.

Kris Aquino also said that he knows that Bimby will be affected when Michela Cazzola and James Yap will eventually get married but as long Michela will stayed good to her son she would always be “great” to her.

“As long as she’s good to my son, ay, she’s great to me,” she said.

The 43-year-old actress was made to clarify her relationship with former husband after she posted a photo of her together with James Yap and Bimby on her personal Instagram account recently.

According to Kris Aquino, the 32-year-old PBA player  passed by during her commercial shooting and brought Chocolate mousse and cupcakes for her and Bimby.

While James Yap is happy with his love life now, Kris Aquino is still hoping to find her partner as she recently revealed that she is heart-broken.

Kris Aquino was previously in a relationship with Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista but their blossoming romance ended after the politician cited that he loves his children.

Filipino-Italian Actor and singer Matteo Guidicelli admitted that he is calling his rumored girlfriend Pop star Royalty  Sarah Geronimo as “mahal”.

Award-winning director Wenn V. Deramas posted a screen captured photo of his text conversation with “Galema” actor last week in Facebook. The message of Matteo Guidicelli reads: “good morning mahal”

In an interview with DZMM program with Ogie Diaz and MJ Felipe, the 25-year-old hunk actor was made to explain about his conversation with the Film and TV director.

Matteo Guidicelli said that he was from her training that morning so he was tired and he incorrectly typed the message.

Asked if what is his term of endearment for the “Maybe This Time” star, Matteo Guidicelli answered: “Alam mo na ‘yan. Nakasulat na dun sa text ni direk Wenn kung ano [ang tawag ko ky Sarah Geronimo],” he said referring to the term “mahal” in the text conversation.

Ogie Diaz, Meanwhile, shared a story when he and Sarah Geronimo are shooting for the film which made Matteo Guidicelli to giggle.

The actor-showbiz reporter said that the singer-actress admitted to Minnie Aguilar that she already have a boyfriend.

Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli had been making rounds on the social media recently after they had a twice double dates with real-life couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.

Gerald Anderson Prefers to Work with Ex-Girlfriend Kim Chiu Than Maja Salvador!

ABS-CBN contract artist Gerald Anderson prefers to work with his former girlfriend Kim Chiu rather that with his present girlfriend Maja Salvador for a series or movie.

In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep.ph), the “Dyesebel” leading man said that as much as possible he does not want to involve his personal life to showbiz so he does not want to work with “The Legal Wife” star Maja Salvador.

According to him, he wanted to maintain the privacy in their relationship as long as they could to avoid controversies in their romance.

“As much as possible, sabi ko nga, yung relationship namin, as much as possible, hiwalay sa trabaho yun,” he said.

Asked if he wanted to work with “Ikaw lamang” star Kim Chiu, the 25-year-0ld actor said: “Oo naman, oo naman. Siyempre, open naman ako sa lahat ng projects kung sino ang makatambal ko. We’ll see kung sino ang much better.”

Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu last starred together in Star Cinema’s film 24/7 In Love last 2012.

Meanwhile, Gerald Anderson is happy that Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador has finally reconciled recently after a year of rift. Kim said on her past interviews that she has already moved on and she would not focus on the bad things that happened to her before.

It can be remembered that the two Kapamilya stars were once best friends however, their friendship went to a waste when Maja Salvador had a blossoming relationship with Gerald Anderson.

Paulo on real score with KC: It's not yet over

Paulo Avelino said his special relationship with KC Concepcion hasn’t taken off but it’s definitely not yet over.

This comes two weeks after he first admitted that they tried to bring their relationship to the next level but didn't work out.

During an interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, host Boy Abunda asked Avelino to finally clarify the real score between him and Concepcion, following reports that they are no longer dating.

Avelino then said: “Ang masasabi ko siguro hindi pa talaga nagte-take off but it’s not over.”

In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, Avelino said one of the factors that affected their “relationship” was the long distance. Concepcion recently took a short course on acting in New York City but is now back in the Philippines.

Concepcion confessed last April through a text message to "Kris TV" writer Darla Sauler that she loves Avelino.

"No comment except… Basta, mahal ko siya. Yun lang. :)" the 29-year-old actress was quoted as saying.

Avelino first admitted dating Concepcion in November last year, weeks after he confirmed his separation from former girlfriend, actress LJ Reyes, with whom he has a son.

Meanwhile, Avelino, who is currently promoting the series "Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon," is hoping the soap will also receive the same amount of support given to "The Legal Wife."

"Nakaka-pressure lalo na napakataas ng ratings nila and naging very controversial. Sa ngayon, nakakakaba rin dahil bukas na kami eere. Ine-expect lang namin na sana yung sumuporta ng 'Legal Wife', ganun din ang gawin sa 'Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon,'" he said.

Directed by Jerome Pobocan and Trina Dayrit, "Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon" will also star Dina Bonnevie, Maricar Reyes, Tonton Gutierrez, and Albert Martinez.

The soap joins ABS-CBN's primetime lineup on June 16.

KC addresses pregnancy rumors

After taking a swipe at a popular rumor alleging that she is the real mother of her younger siblings Miel and Miguel, KC Concepcion finally opened up about the persistent talk and emphasized that she is not their mother.

Rumors that Concepcion is the real mother of Miel, who is turning 10 in September, has long been circulating. In 2012, veteran actress Sharon Cuneta had to publicly deny that Concepcion is the real mom of Miel and adopted son, Miguel.

In an interview Bianca Gonzalez as published on The Philippine Star Sunday, Concepcion said she initially did not mind the rumor about Miel being her daughter because she knows it is not true.

“First of all, sabi nila, kaya daw ako nag-Paris when I was 18 is because I was pregnant. And I didn’t know it was such a big rumor because it isn’t true! I didn’t mind it. It was funny eh, but when your family starts to ask about it, then it gets real. Parang, wait lang, showbiz can actually ruin relationships,” she said.

“So when they didn’t see any tell-tale signs, sabi nila, nagpa-abort daw kasi ako. Ano ba talaga? Nabuntis ba ako or nagpa-abort? They said anak ko daw si Miel (Pangilinan), because I wasn’t here when she was born. They said my mom paid so and so millions para daw tumahimik yung mga tao. Then when we adopted my brother Miguel, si Miguel naman daw 'yung tunay kong anak,” she added.

Concepcion quipped that it is unfortunate that “in showbiz, there can be smoke when there’s no fire.”

Aside from the pregnancy rumors, Concepcion also laughed off talk that the only reason she moved to Boston when she was 12 was because she was caught smoking in the bathroom.

Despite all these rumors, Concepcion said she only becomes more determined to let the people know more about herself.

“If you know me, how I am, how I think, kayo na mismo makakaalam if (rumors are) true or not. Instead of allowing other people to introduce me, I’ll do it myself,” she told Gonzalez.

This is also the reason she is active on various social media sites.

“I am so passionate about photos, sharing myself on Twitter and Instagram, and my blog before, it is my way of letting the fans in, so that they can know me,” she said.
