The much-talked-about episode was aired on May 21, 2014 in which Monica, played by Angel Locsin find out that Nicole (Maja Salvador), a mistress, had been seeing her husband Adrian (Jericho Rosales) again.
The wife and the mistress had a physical confrontation and Monica was seen hitting Nicole for several times. She only calmed down when Nicole said that she is pregnant and Adrian fathered the child.
In her live interview with “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Wednesday night, the 29-year-old actress said that she was concerned after they did the fight scene because it might create rift between her and Maja Salvador.
She praises Maja Salvador also for being a professional actress since it was okay for her to do the scene and she did not request for a double that will replace her during the scene.
Angel Locsin recalled that after the brawl scene, both of them talked together about what happened and apologized to Maja Salvador as she did not want to hurt her.
In a separate interview with one of the casts, Matet de Leon said that Maja Salvador got bruises on her ear and nape.
“The Legal Wife” airs every weeknights on ABS-CBN and it is set to air its final episode on June 16, 2014.
