The country’s largest television network, ABS-CBN, has dominated anew the list of 10 most watched shows in the Philippines based upon the research conducted by Kantar Media.
Topping the list is no less than the second edition of “The Voice” in the Philippines, the young and talented “The Voice Kids” garnering an average nationwide rating of 34.1%. The highly anticipated singing competition debuted last May 24, 2014.

Aside from “The Voice Kids,” ABS-CBN’s primetime and weekend offerings also landed on the Top 10 list naming “Dyesebel” with 30.6% on the second spot followed by “Ikaw Lamang” (30.5%), “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (28.6%), and “Wansapanataym” (26.3%) on the third, fourth and fifth respectively.
The highly-anticipated romantic-drama series, “The Legal Wife” has landed on the sixth place as most watched May 2014 show in the Philippines with 26% nationwide audience share which was followed by “TV Patrol” with 25.6%.
Sunday magazine program, “Rated K” was ranked eight as most watched TV show with 22.3% followed by “Mirabella” starring Julia Barretto with 20% on the ninth place. Last but not the least are “Bet On Your Baby” and “Home Sweetie Home” with 19.5% which tied on the 10th place.
The primetime programs of Kapamilya Network bolstered on ratings between 6 p.m. to 12 midnight where more advertisements were being televised. ABS-CBN dominated on ratings with 51% audience share while its rival networks only stands at 30% for GMA-7 and 9% for TV5.
According to ABS-CBN News, the research was conducted through a nationwide panel size of 2,609 rural and urban homes which represent the 100 percent of the total viewing population of Philippine television.
