In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the 18-year-old star admitted that she is hoping that their newest film will be a great hit. However, she is not expecting too much since she does not want to get disappointed.
But Kathryn Bernardo assured their fans and supporters that she and her leading man Daniel Padilla is doing their best in order to share a good movie that everyone would like.
“Huwag mag-expect. Ayaw kong mag-expect basta alam ko na maganda ang material namin, gagawin namin lahat to give you the best movie,” she explained.
According to the young star, the movie is not a typical love story and it is different from the usual love story movies. It is also different from their hit defunct series “Got to Believe” and from the projects that he have worked for before.
Kathryn Bernardo also said that the teen actor is very different from the movie adding that he really improved in the film.
“She’s Dating The Gangster”, based on the best-selling book of the same title, is directed by award-winning director Cathy Garcia-Molina. It is set to be released on theaters nationwide on July 16, 2014.
It is their third leading role film after the 2013 movie “Must Be.. Love” and their Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) entry “Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay”, which became a box-office hit.
