In an interview with Push.abs-cbn.com, the 28-year-old actor-model said that a lot of better projects was given to him by the network.
“Of course when I transferred, bigger opportunities‘yung aabutan ko talaga dito kaya ako nag transfer and maganda, maganda talaga ‘yung takbo [career ko],” he said
Jc de Vera was a former Star Struck contestant in GMA and he was once dubbed as “Drama Prince”. He then transferred to the rival network TV5 after signing a three-year non-exclusive contract.
JC de Vera moved to kapamilya network on 2013. He now stars in two different series which include the fantasy-drama series “Moon of Desire” and the top-rating series “The Legal Wife” where she worked with award-winning actor and actresses Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales.
JC de Vera said that he was blessed with his two soaps and he was grateful that though he has not prove everything yet as an actor and the fact that he is a new kapamilya star, the network still trust him of the big projects.
Asked on what does he think are the reasons why he was offered to work for soaps, Jc de Vera thinks that the management saw a potential on him and because he do his best when working.
Despite of his success, JC de Vera said that he still needs to improve as an actor and he believes that one does not closes his/her door in learning and improving.
