According to her, one of the reasons why they did not bring Zion in the country after he was born last April 2013 was because they were afraid that the little boy might get dragged on the controversy involving his mom Sarah Lahbati.
“The baby might be dragged into the issue,” Annabell Rama told The Philippine Star’s Ricky Lee. “Headline ‘yung kaso ni Sarah at GMA. Kung lumabas ‘yung balita na nanganak siya, kawawa naman ‘yung baby, baka madamay, baka maging circus lang sa media.”
Aside from the previous legal issue, one of the reason why baby Zion was kept on public is because of their show, “It Takes Gutz’ to be Gutierrez” which premiered with a shocking revelation.
Early last year, the controversy between Sarah Lahbati and GMA-7 executive Annette Abrogar erupted as the 20-year-old actress claimed mismanagement on her career in behalf of Atty. Abrogar. Their rift even landed into filing of legal suits which include libel and grave coercion cases.
However, their rift did not last long after they announced their out of the court settlement early this year.
It’s been a year since Kapuso stars "Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez" left the limelight and now they have just returned with a furious revelation.
On Sunday, June 1, 2014, Richard Gutierrez finally broke his silence as he admitted on family Gutierrez’s lifestyle program on E! that he is fathering the child of Sarah Lahbati whom he named as Zion.
Based upon the article written by Ricky Lo, baby Zion was born in Switzerland and then he was brought to the United States where Eddie and Elvis along with Sarah Lahbati’s mother took care of him.
