Starlet says no sex with drug convict during hospital visit
MANILA (2nd UPDATE) - Sexy starlet Krista Miller was emotional on Friday as she spoke up on the controversy linking her to the special treatment given to convicted drug lord Ricardo Camata at a hospital in Manila.
In a press conference on Friday afternoon, Miller stressed that her visit to Camata last May 31 was "purely business" since she was only trying to sell real estate, not her body.
The actress said she decided to speak up to give her side after receiving negative and hurtful messages via social media.
Miller said she met Camata when she joined National Bilibid Prison's "sagala night."
Ako po, ang ginawa ko ay nagbebenta lang ako," said Miller, who also offered to cooperate with the Department of Justice.

Miller again became emotional when she talked about the reaction of her family to the controversy.
Miller said she won't be filling any charges against anyone, and that she hopes speaking up would be enough to clear her name.
BEHIND IN SALES QUOTA
In her prepared statement, Miller said she is deeply hurt by the speculations that she was engaged in commercial sex or worse, even selling drugs.
The starlet explained that she started working as a real estate agent in January, but she has been in the “red line” for two months now for failure to meet her monthly sales quota.
Miller said she was not aware of the policy that only family members were allowed to visit prisoners in the hospital and that she needed clearance from the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Regarding the issue that she was left in Camata’s room for 10 minutes, Miller explained that they only talked business.
Justice Undersecretary Francisco Baraan III on Wednesday identified Miller as the "fair-skinned woman" who visited Camata at the hospital.
Baraan said he went to the hospital on Tuesday to review the footage of a CCTV camera installed in front of Camata's room.
The DOJ has ordered the relief of New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Chief Supt. Fajardo Lansangan and 12 jail guards over the alleged special treatment being given to high-profile inmates.
Miller said she is willing to cooperate with authorities to clear her name.
This is not the first controversy that Miller has been involved in. She is the starlet who was tagged in the separation of actor Cesar Montano and actress Sunshine Cruz last year.
