During the press conference for the soap opera, the 26-year-old star admitted that it was her first time portray two characters in any drama series or movies. It was also difficult for her but she take it as a challenge.“First time sa akin ito to portray dual characters, physically draining din siya. Kasi palit ka nang palit ng make-up lalo na kapag may double exposure na eksena. Pero ako I like accepting challenges so ito yung maipagmamalaki ko siguro,”she said.
According to Bea Alonzo, her role becomes easy for her with the help of their directors Jerome Popbocan and Trina Dayrit.
Bea Alonzo will play the characters of Emmanuelle, a determined and courages lawyer who had a good and loving family and Rose, a woman who was filed with criminal charges in which she did not commit.
She also accepted the offer to have more intimate scenes and she felt lucky because she will do it with gentlemen people in the series.
It will be her comeback TV project after she last appeared on the hit series “A Beatiful Affair” last August 2013.
Other casts in the soap include Maricar Reyes, Dina Bonnevie, Tonton Gutierrez, Anita Linda, Susan Roces Eddie Garcia, Francis Magundayao, Michelle Vito, Miguel Vergara and many more.
“Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” is set to air on June 16 as part of ABS-CBN primtime bida after “Ikaw Lamang”.
