Filipino-American fans of pop superstar and singing sensation Charice Pempengco got mixed reactions after having seen the singer’s new looks.
The 22-year-old phenomenal singer continued grace her world tour which rocked the Cache Creek Casino Resort in Brooks, California over the weekend with thousands of fans and supporters flocked at the venue.
Many noticed changes on her singing style including her repertoire. “I’m curious but hopefully she maintains that former Charice of TFC that I know is good,” Tessie Guinto of South San Francisco said.
“I’m curious if there is anything new but I hope she’s still the same hopefully,” Chona Mirdana, a resident Hillsborough said.
The former Little Big Star grand finalist who came short after losing to singer-actor Sam Concepcion performed R&B and dance songs during her shows . She was formerly known for her rendition of classic songs by Whitney Houston or Celine Dion.
“I think Charice brings to the table, talent and I think that’s more important behind what goes on inside closed doors,” Jmarc Javelosa of San Mateo said citing no distinct changes with regards to her talent.
“I am watching her and seeing her for her talent not because of her who she is or her sexual preference,” Sy said. “Everybody has their agenda and priorities in life so be it. So again. I support her,” an avid fan of the Pinay singer said.
