Daniel Padilla, one of the hottest young stars today are always paired with her rumored girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo and many were surprised that he had an advertisement with Julia Barretto.
Julia Barretto and the 19-year old actor recently worked for the summer-themed commercial of Pepsi while Kathryn Bernardo is endorsing the Coca-cola which is a rival company of Pepsi.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Enrique Gil said that it is unreasonable to bash or judged his “Mira Bella” leading lady just because she was paired to Daniel Padilla.
According to him, they cannot chose their work and they cannot choose the people to work with. They are just accepting the opportunities that are coming in their career.
“I think it’s unfair. Para sa akin, it’s just a commercial. Hindi naman kami pumipili. Walang kamalay-malay yung tao bina-bash for no reason at all,” he said. “It’s the same thing na what if yung fans naman ni Julia ang mag-bash kay Daniel for him being there not me? Para sa akin, it’s unfair talaga.”
He also added that it would be nice if the fans of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla would support them in their individual careers not just their onscreen tandem.
Meanwhile, Daniel Padilla also stressed in his past interview that he and Julia Barretto worked professionally in their first TV ad campaign.
