In the teaser video for her interview at “Tapatan ni Tunying”, the “Moon of Desire” star said that she started her acting career in playing small roles or sometimes extra in the shows.
She said: “Nagsimula ako, passerby. So ‘yung P300 na dati mong kinikita eh tumaas ng P1,500″
The 21-year-old model admitted that there were a lot of times that she feels like giving up and her mommy even told her to stop.
“Madaming beses. May mga times na sasabihin sa iyo ni mommy na, ‘ah tigil ka na.’ Ganoon,” she added.
Meg Imperial has auditioned for the comedy show “Goin’ Bulilit” when she was 13 but she was not accepted because she is too old for the show. She also appeared on TV5 defunct horror series “Midnight DJ”.
She was given a big break in ABS-CBN on 2014 in the drama series “Moon of Desire”, where she plays the lead role.
Meg Imperial also said in her past interviews that she is happy in her career now and she became popular after she appeared in some ABS-CBN shows.
“Before kapag dadaan ka sa hallway ng ABS, walang nagpapa-picture masyado. Pero, after ng first projects ko sa ABS like It’s Showtime, MMK [Maalaala Mo Kaya], okey na po, parang may nakakilala na sa akin… ‘Ah, si Meg Imperial ‘yan,” she said.
The episode of “Tapatan ni Tunying” which features Meg Imperial will air on Thursday afternoon May 22, 2014.
