Actor-host Vice Ganda reportedly settled his rift with fellow Kapamilya comedian John “Sweet” Lapus as they were spotted together in a recent event.
“Hay, thank you LORD. All’s the well that ends well. God bless their forgiving hearts ,” ABS-CBN TV Head Eric John Salut as the accompanying caption to the photo he shared on image-sharing site, Instagram.
However, Vice Ganda and John Lapus have yet to confirm that they already patch things up. Both of them neither release any official statement.
The issue between the blockbuster comedians started after reports broke out that the role for hit MMFF 2013 movie, “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy” was initially offered to John Lapus, but he has been replaced by Vice Ganda.
According to John Lapus, Star Cinema approached him to do the movie, however, Wenn Deramas allegedly dropped him after he refused to lose weight.
“Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy” is one of the official entries of defunct Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 which reigned in box office as the highest grossing Filipino film of all time earning a whooping over P400 million.
John Lapus is currently busy on his top-rating afternoon series, “Mirrabella” which stars with Julia Barretto, Sam Concepcion and Enrique Gil.
On the newest series of Kapamilya Network, the 41-year-old comedian portrays the role of Rafael “Paeng” Amarillo, the foster-father of Julia Barretto (Mirrabella).
Vice Ganda on the other hand is busy preparing for the sequel of his hit comedy film, “The Unkabogable: Private Benjamin” which will premiere on December 25, 2014 as one of the official entries of upcoming 2014 MMFF.
