Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, the foundation's executive director, said that "this year's finalists constitute a heady brew of the most varied genres: dance, rock, R&B, a couple of ballads, some pop and a genre-defying song in multi-meter."
He also shared his excitement to hear established singers and new artists interpret the songs.
"I'm very excited because this batch of songs are again as exciting as different, very, very different. Iba't ibang tunog na naman ang lumabas," Cayabyab said.
