MANILA - Kapamilya star Judy Ann Santos said she is open to doing a movie with controversial actress Claudine Barretto.
Santos believes that there should be a "Judai-Claudine" film for their fans.
"'Yung kay Clau (Barretto), matagal na ring usap-usapan 'yan na magkakaroon kami ng movie together. For me, it's a dream come true na makakasama siya sa pelikula. Parang feeling ko there should be a Judai-Claudine movie, 'yun talaga ang pakiramdam ko. Noon pa, kung pwede niyong i-recall ang past interview ninyo sa akin, ay nabanggit ko na siya," Santos told reporters in a recent interview.
"So kung matuloy man siya eh 'di good. Everybody happy," she added.
Santos said she sees nothing wrong with working with Barretto, noting the latter's acting prowess.
"Walang magiging problema sa akin. Claudine is a friend. Professional kaming magiging magkatrabaho and I think we deserve to give a good movie sa mga taong sumuporta sa amin simula noong bata at dalaga kami hanggang magkaroon kami ng asawa. Deserve nila na makapanood ng magandang Judai-Claudine movie kung mag-materialize man 'yan," she said.
On Thursday, Claudine posted a photo on Instagram showing her with executives of ABS-CBN and Star Cinema.
"So nice to b home with Roxy, Zel, Tita Malou Santos @ Abs-Cbn & Starcinema office. I luv u guys," she wrote as the photo's accompanying caption.
On project with Coco
Meanwhile, Santos also shared her thoughts about her pending movie project with "Ikaw Lamang" star Coco Martin.
"With Coco, matagal na 'yun, supposedly hindi lang natutuloy pa kasi ang daming trabaho ni bagets tapos ako rin nagsusunud-sunod din at 'di nagsa-swak ang schedule namin. So pending pa rin siya hanggang ngayon," she said.
Santos' game show involving parents and their children, "Bet on Your Baby," aired its final episode last Saturday.
The Kapamilya star has also finished shooting scenes for ABS-CBN's upcoming reality show, "I Do."
Asked of her upcoming projects, Santos replied: "May in-offer sa akin ang ABS-CBN, pinag-aaralan nila ngayon kung paano magma-materialize. Maybe a teleserye, maybe a movie, hindi ko lang alam kung saan siya magsisimula."
