In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (pep.ph), the former “Annaliza” actor said that he does not regret on splitting up with Angelica Panganiban since she is still special for him.
“Espesyal pa rin naman siya kahit papano, e. Espesyal pa rin si Angelika dahil ang tagal namin, e. Kumbaga from puppy love ‘tapos nag-mature kami, kami pa rin, e,” he said.
The former sweethearts recently worked for “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode which was aired on May 17, 2014 and it was their first on-screen tandem after 10 years.
Carlo Aquino shared that he and the “Bananasplit” star talked about their respective love lives. They talked about her present boyfriend, the kapamilya heart-throb John Lloyd Cruz and his non-showbiz girlfriend.
The 28-year-old actor and his girlfriend are in a relationship for 4 years. Asked if he has a plan to marry her, he said that he will settle everything first before he will asked her to walk down in the aisle.
“Para sa akin, kailangan talagang planuhin iyon at pag-isipang mabuti. Kasi big deal ‘yan sa mga babae, e.Hangga’t maaari siguro, gagawin mong…kahit hindi naman malaki pero siguro, espesyal,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, Carlo Aquino is currently busy for his indie film “Whistleblower” with the Superstar Nora Aunor. Aside from “Whistleblower”, he is also working for his 2014 cinemalaya film entry “Ronda” with Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.
