Prince of Philippine Bamboo Manalac Rock or simply known as Bamboo denies the rumors that the international pop star apl.de.ap was pulled out from the reality singing competition "The Voice Kids" Because of him.

In an interview with Bandera.inquirer.net, the singer-songwriter denies that he feels intimidated with apl.de.ap, which was said to be the reason why the Fil-Am singer was no longer one of the coaches.

“Not at all. I just think we’re in different worlds, different genres. I just see music as one world, one thing, right? That’s the kind of personality I am, I guess. That’s the way I think medyo deep in that sense now,” he said.
apl.de.ap was one of the coaches in the first season of “The Voice of the Philipines” together with Bamboo, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and the Multi-awarded international music icon Lea Salonga.
According to the 36-year-old rock icon, they worked together for the show and they became even closer as coaches but they do not usually hang out together because he is a homebody type of person.
Meanwhile, the “Voice Kids”, hosted by Luis Manzano and Alex Gonzaga, will air its pilot episode on May 24, 2014. ABS-CBN, will also launch the second season of “The Voice of the Philippines” on the second quarter of 2014.
