In interview with push.abs-cbn.com, the Teen Queen said that she wanted to finish her studies because that is her second option because she knows that her career in showbiz is not for lifetime. She wanted also to be confident in her self.
“Siyempre para ‘yun ‘yong ano mo, ‘yung second option mo. Alam mo naman hindi forever ng showbiz at para mas confident ka sa sarali mo,” she stressed.
The 18-year-old actress said that though she cannot attend to school this year because of her hectic schedules, she assures that she will continue her studies as soon as possible.
“Ngayon hindi po ako nag-aaral ngayon, nag po ako, pero babalik po ako ASAP, I promise,” she said. Kathryn Bernardo wants to take up a degree in marketing.
Meanwhile, Kathryn Bernardo is currently busy shooting her upcoming romantic-comedy film “She’s Dating The Gangster” with leading man and rumored boyfriend Daniel Padilla.
She will play the role of Athena Dizon who pretends to be in a relationship with a bad boy Kenji delos Reyes (Daniel Padilla) to make her ex-boyfriend jealous. Their pretend romance will eventually turn into real.
“She’s Dating The Gangster” is the film adaption of the best-selling novel of the same title. It is set to be released on July 16, 2014.
Aside from the movie, Kathryn Bernardo is also working for her first ever album.
