According to Philippine Entertainment Portal (pep.ph), a production insider told them that Coco Martin’s lips touched Sarah Geronimo’s when they shoot the scene where in their faces come really close.
The Pop star royalty confirmed it and said that Coco Martin’s reached the top of her lips. “Si Coco medyo lumapit ng konti [referring to his lips],” she said.
Asked if what does she feel while shooting the film, the actress-singer said that she did not feel awkward on shooting the film since it is really needed.
“Siyempre, kung kinakailangan talaga ng istorya, bakit hindi mo gagawin, di ba? Hindi naman naging bastos ang kissing scene namin,” she said.
The “Ikaw Lamang” star revealed that the kissing was not planned and most of their dialogues were ad lib. He added that it was called chemistry in their first movie tandem.
“Maybe This Time” follows the story Steph Asuncion (Sarah Geronimo) and Toni Bugayong (Coco Martin) who was once fall in love and met again after seven years after Toni leaves Steph without reason.
Meanwhile, the movie successfully held the premiere night at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City on Tuesday May 27, 2014. The film is now showing on theaters nationwide.
