MANILA – After her previous relationships with showbiz personalities, Melissa Ricks wants her personal life to be less public this time around.
Although many people have been noticing her glow these days, Ricks refused to confirm whether she now has a new boyfriend.
It has already been months since Ricks broke up with former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Paul Jake Castillo.
“Basta ang masasabi ko lang happy ako, nage-enjoy ako. I want to keep things private na lang this time. I learned from the past. Basta dapat masaya lang,” she told ABS-CBN News.
Aside from Castillo, Ricks was also previously in a relationship with actor Jake Cuenca.
Now 24, Ricks said she is happy to just enjoy life and be carefree.
Asked if marriage is already in the horizon for her, Ricks said, “It’s every girl’s dream to wear a wedding gown and to get married… [Pero] hindi pa naman. I’m just enjoying being young, enjoying life.”
Ricks also reported that she is happy with her upcoming projects.
“I have an indie film. Meron din kaming ‘Ipaglaban Mo’ ni Matt (Evans). Malapit na malapit na, sa June na. Balik-tambalan kami ni Matt sa episode na 'yun,” she said.
“Ipaglaban Mo” is a legal drama series that presents real-life legal stories.
