In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (Pep.ph), Matt Padilla said that he tried his best to make a mark in the showbiz so other people so he would not hear negative reactions from the people.
“Siguro ginagawa ko ang best ko para siyempre sumabay sa kasikatan ni Utol [Daniel] para wala tayong marinig na negative na reaction mula sa ibang tao,” he admitted.
He also said that he wanted to be impress his supporters as Matt Padilla not just because he is the brother of Teen King but he is very grateful and blessed to be Daniel Padilla’s brother.
He revealed that Daniel Padilla and her step mother Karla Estrada brought him a car to support his work. “Very blessed na mayroon akong brother na Daniel Padilla,” he said.
Matt Padilla thanked also the fans Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo dubbed as “KathNiel” because they are supporting him.
Meanwhile, Matt Padilla talks also his upcoming TV series in TV 5 “Jasmine” with Jasmine Curtis and Alwyn Uytingco and said he was excited for the release on June 1, 2014.
According to him, it is a different show where in it will combine the fiction and reality in one show. Aside from “Jasmine”, he is also lined to work in a sitcom in TV 5.
