Phenomenal comedian Vice Ganda and multi-awarded actor Coco Martin, who are best of friends since then, share how their friendship started on “Gandang Gabi Vice”
On May 25, 2014 episode of GGV, Coco Martin dubbed as “Teleserye King” appeared for the first time in the entertainment show for its third year anniversary.
The 38-year-old host recalled that he met the “Ikaw Lamang” star in the restaurant where Coco Martin was previously working as a waiter while Vice Ganda was performing as an entertainer.
Coco Martin said that while Vice Ganda is performing, he was invited to go on stage but he refused it so Vice Ganda poked fun at him. They both admitted that they were annoyed with each other that time.
Coco Martin also said that he felt angry to Vice Ganda because it was the first time he was embarrassed but when he started to watch him in the comedy bar, he realized that he is really funny.
They became friends when Vice Ganda learned that Coco Martin is the cousin of his friends.
Vice Ganda also revealed that Coco Martin went to Canada and worked as a janitor and they still keep in touch through the social-networking site Friendster.
Coco Martin said that they are constantly talking through Friendster and they always became emotional when talking about their struggles in life and that brought them closer together.
Vice Ganda also shared that both of them underwent the hardships together and they also became successful together.
