In his interview in the morning show “Kris TV” aired on Friday June 6, 2014, the “Star in a Million” grand winner admitted that he stopped wooing the singer-actress after she started to go out with a non-showbiz guy.
Asked if Angeline Quinto told him that she was liking the guy, the 31-year-old artist said that she tends to change her mind. Sometimes she likes someone and sometimes she would say no.
According to Erik Santos, he got tired because he thinks that their budding romance would not land into a real relationship so he decided not to pursue the 24-year-old star.
“Magulo kasi minsan gusto, minsan ayaw niya, minsan hindi. Medyo (napagod), kasi parang walang patutunguhan,” he said.
He also said that they still remain friends and they still manage to communicate to each other despite of what happened.
Angeline Quinto said on her past interview that her relationship with a non-showbiz guy, whom she considered as her “inspiration”, did not work out.
Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto first met in the ABS-CBN’s reality singing competition “Star Power”, in which Erik is hosting with Christian Bautista and Angeline is the grand winner.
Meanwhile, Angeline Quinto recently stated that Erik Santos is still in love with her ex-girlfriend, the sexy star Rufa Mae Quinto.
Erik Santos and Rufa Mae Quinto ended their relationship last 2007 and Mark Bautista was rumored as the reason of their breakup.
