In an interview with Philstar.com, the “Hawak Kamay” singer said that there is now wrong in getting married beacuse it is actually good because you put God in the relationship.
“Ang pagpapakasal o desisyon na maging commited sa someone na mahal mo ay isang magandang bagay. Kaysa mag-enter ka sa isang relationship na not honoring God and of course hindi rin makakabuti sa ‘yo,” she said.
The 25-year-old music icon added that she wanted to be an inspiration to the youth and she wanted to take the fear from the people who wanted to get married since it only proves that someone can really love a person forever.
Yeng Constantino is now engaged to her first boyfriend, the Christian worship director Yan Asuncion on march, one year after they admitted their relationship to the public.
According to Yeng Constantion, when she get married she will not change her genre of music and she assured that it will not affect her as an artist. She still wanted to make a mark in the music industry.
Meanwhile, Yeng Constantino has recently renewed her contract as an ambassadress of the Singaporean school, Academy of Rock. She also worked with the alumni of the school for her second album “Next Step Vol. 2″ for the benefit of Bantay Bata.
Yeng Constantino said that she is grateful that the Academy of Rock helped for her album in her aim to help the foundation.
