Kapuso actor Ryan Eigenmann explains why is it more adventurous to portray the role of a kontrabida rather than the lead star.

The 35-year-old villain actor stars in the upcoming afternoon TV series of GMA-7, The Half Sisters which is slated to air on Monday, June 9, 2014. The latest romantic-drama series also stars with Jomari Yllana, Jean Garcia together with Barbie Forteza and Thea Tolentino.

In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Ryan Eiganmann also cited a medical condition for the possibility of twins to have different fathers, the Hetero fraternal superfecundation which reflects to the story line of his upcoming series.
Ryan Eigenmann will be the father of Thea Tolentino on the series while Jomari Yllana, who impregnated Jean Garcia, Eigenmann’s wife will be the father of Barbie Forteza.
According to the son of veteran Filipino actors Michael de Mesa and Gina Alajar, portraying the role of a “kontrabida” or villain is more fun compared to the lead star.
The alumnus of Ateneo de Manila University is married to TV host-commercial model Cathy Bordalba. They tied the knot last February 28, 2010 in Coconut Place.
Ryan Eigenmann came to prominence upon portraying antagonistic roles. The Half Sisters which is set to debut on Monday replacing defunct GMA series, Villa Quintana also features Andre Paras, the son of basketball living legend, Benjie Paras.
