The less than two-minute video was uploaded on the official channel of Star Cinema in the biggest video-sharing site Youtube on Friday June 6, 2014. It was narrated by the 31-year-old actor himself.
On the video, Zanjoe Marudo introduces him self as Henry saying that he was supposed to be married to the character of sexy actress Ellen Adarna.
Zanjoe Marudo then shifted the story in the situation where he cannot remember marrying Clarise, to be played by Pokwang, who have already two children. Pokwang then tries to help Zanjoe Marudo on remembering their relationship which was not true.
“My Illegal Wife”, directed by Tony Y, Reyes tells the story of Henry and Clarise who once met in an aiport. Clarise tries to seduce Henry in her aim to have a husband but she end up being rejected.
The two were involved in a plane crash and woke up in a Island. Henry had an amnesia and Clarise takes advantage on the situation and pretended to be Henry’s wife.
Completing the casts are Joy Viado, Pooh, Empoy Marquez, Beauty Gonzalez, Mikayla Ramirez, Edgar Allan De Guzman, Edgar Allan De Guzaman, Steven De Guzman and Anita Linda.
“My Illegal Wife”, directed by Tony Y. Reyes under the productions of Star Cinema and Skylight Films, is set to kick off the cinemas on June 11, 2014.
