Kapuso child star Mona Louise Rey continues to work despite suffering from juvenile diabetes.

The 9-year-old GMA Network contract artist is set to star in the upcoming comedy-drama series, “My BFF” along with child star Jillan Ward which is slated to premiere on June 23, 2014 right before 24 Oras which is set to replace the most talked about romantic series, “My Love From the Star.”

My BFF also stars with Janno Gibbs, Maniyln Reyes, Pen Medina, Lauren Young, Valerie Concepcion, Bea Binene and Barbie Forteza directed by Jun Lana.
Meanwhile, according to the report of Bandera.inquirer.net, Mona Louise Rey needs to inject insulin once or twice a day either on her hand or her hips. Since she has been suffering this kind of complication for years already at an early age, she managed to consume her insulin consumption by herself.
Mona Louise Rey has already accepted her condition and unlike other patients afflicted with this disease, she did not felt down as if her condition continues to worsen her immune system.
Mona Louise Rey is very thankful that she has lots of projects and continuously doing her job in the industry. Her salary helps a lot in her medication.
The child star actress last appeared on defunct GMA TV series, “Rhodora X.” She debuted into big screen via horror movie, “Basement” which premiered last February 12, 2014 along with Survivor Philippines Season 2 winner Betong Sumaya.
