Zanjoe Marudo considers Bea Alonzo, his girlfriend of 3 years, as one of his fantasies that has become a reality.
In a live interview on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" on Friday, the 31-year-old actor was asked to react to Alonzo's earlier statement that he is one of her answered prayers.

He responded that he sees the actress similarly. "Masarap 'yung pakiramdam na 'yung fantasy mo, naging reality," Marudo said.
Asked if there is truth to speculation that they are engaged, Marudo said, "Pinagta-trabahuhan ko 'yan ngayon, 'yung kinabukasan na mabibigay ko sa pamilyang bubuuin ko."
Admitting that Alonzo is a "bigger star," having started her career in 2002 and with several box-office hits to her name, Marudo said this is precisely why he is making an extra effort to ensure he will provide well for their future family.
"Kaya nga gano'n 'yung pag-iisip ko. Kasi alam naman natin si Bea, she's made, successful, 'diba? Maganda na 'yung buhay niya, pero siyempre, ako, gusto ko, kung magkakatuluyan kami, ready ako, capable ako na mag-provide ng kung ano ang buhay niya ngayon," he said.
Despite a relatively fresh career, Marudo is considered a versatile actor for juggling comedy and drama projects, both on TV and the big screen.
Marudo credits his experience for his improvements in his craft.
"Siguro, sa experience din at dahil doon sa mga nakakasama ko sa trabaho, sa mga direktor, atsaka 'yung passion," he said.
"Gusto ko talagang matuto, e. Gusto matuto ng kahit anong role. Kaya hindi ako mapili, mapa-bading, kung ano man 'yan. Nag tatay na ako sa 11-year-old. Gusto ko marami akong i-offer."
Marudo will star opposite Pokwang in the romance comedy film "My Illegal Wife," which will hit theaters nationwide on June 11.
